Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, you will play a critical role in our company's financial management, including the development and implementation of financial strategies, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
- Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Additional controller duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of education, experience, and skills, including:
- MBA degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
