Controller, Industrial Scientific
Job Summary:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining robust internal controls. This role will involve managing accounting functions, financial analysis, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, managing a team of 4 direct reports, including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
+ Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including GAAP.
+ Coordinate and manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring all accounts reconciled in line with our deadlines, owning monthly global consolidation
+ Support financial analysis, managing our capital expenditure accounting
+ Maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with all corporate policies
+ Manage all accounting SOX process and internal audit team member. Support IT SOX processes
+ Implement and oversee internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.
+ Work with operations team to ensure standard costs are accurate and understand our cost accounting
+ Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
+ Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Support corporate tax initiatives
+ Provide leadership and support to the accounting team.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
+ >15 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or financial management.
+ Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
+ Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
+ Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/quarter-end close process & consolidation
+ Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong organizational and management skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 139,300.00 - 258,700.00
