Featuring a full network of licensed contractor applicators, RenoSys has been involved with pool construction and pool renovation projects throughout the world.
We are a growing Indianapolis based contractor / manufacturer. We are searching for High Performing Controller to join our Leadership team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who is strategic and inspires high performance of others on the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting process for banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, p+l accounting by project, and compliance.
- Manage the activities of the two person accounting staff
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly results reporting to management
- Manage technical accounting questions and updates
- Prepare forecast and annual budgets
- Review / analyze budget variances and propose corrective actions
- Manage banking relationships and professional insurance carrier relationships
- Review project profitability with the Operations team and address corrective actions as needed
- Work with outside CPA firm and external consultants as needed
- Multi-state Sales & Use tax filings
- Perform special projects for the Leadership team as needed
Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting / finance roles preferably in construction service organizations
- Self-motivated team player, financial / accounting acumen, hold trust with peers, tech savvy, manages complexity, resourceful, strategic mindset, drives results, ensures accountability
- High proficiency in Quick Books, and Microsoft Excel
- Tech savvy
- Experience with working with Leadership Teams
- Experienced business partner, skilled in building trust and inspiring others
- Excellent communication skills ability to articulate complex concepts and risk factors to the management team
- Knowledge to assess, develop, and implement internal controls
