Job Details
Responsible for directing the financial affairs of the Credit Union and establishing major economic and financial
objectives and policies for the Credit Union. Participates in the general management of the organization as a
member of the Senior Management Team. Complies with all Credit Union rules and regulations, including BSA/
AML.
Responsibilities:

Background in bank data processing systems preferred., telephone, etc.
3-5 years supervisory experience.

organization; promotes the Credit Union in financial markets to ensure sources of capital.

- Oversees accounting department; hires, trains, directs, and evaluates employee performance
within the department; approves promotions, transfers and salary adjustments. Coaches and
counsels as needed. Recommends discipline and/or discharge of subordinates, as appropriate,
while maintaining required personnel documentation. Ensures a trained, motivated, and
professional staff capable of providing efficient and effective Accounting/Finance Operations
services to internal and external members.
- Prepares financial reports; ensures complete and accurate financial, statistical, and accounting
records of the Credit Union. Performs financial analysis as needed. Performs the Allowance for
Loan Loss Calculation. Manages the Profit Star system and vendor relationship.
- Oversees and directs investments, budgeting, audit, accounting, ACH, Share draft, and Card
Services activities. Reviews operational procedures to obtain optimum efficiency and reduce
costs.
- Works with auditors/examiners on year-end and comprehensive audits. Collects and anlyzes data
to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations,
and management policies in an effort to support internal/external audits. Oversee reporting to the
regulatory authorities and to the Board.
- Writes, reviews, and distributes financial policy and procedure statements to ensure regulatory
and policy compliance.
- Directs preparation and evaluation of budgets and capital plans; directs receipt, disbursement,
and expenditures of money or capital assets. Projects income, expenses, profits, and asset/
