Controller - Strategic Employment

A growing non-profit in Framingham is hiring for a Controller to join their team. This is a key hire that will assist the CFO in the full lifecycle of the accounting process, including month-end close, general ledger, financial reporting and analysis, and budgeting. The Controller will also own the Universal Financial Report for this non-profit.

This role is hybrid 3x a week in office in Framingham, however candidates will be primarily onsite in their first 90 days

Required:

• 7+ years of professional experience as an accountant adhering to GAAP
• Experience working at a non-profit company
• 4+ years in a supervisory or management position of lower level finance professionals
• Strong knowledge of general ledger and month end close process, and grant reporting

Nice to have:

• Specific UFR (Universal Financial Report) accounting experience
• CPA Designation
