Key Responsibilities of the next Controller:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting and finance operations.
• Human Resources responsibilities
  • Initiate hiring tasks
  • Review benefits and maintain insurance relations
  • Track HR related data
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls, processes, and systems.
• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports to executive leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team to achieve operational excellence.

Ideal Qualifications of this Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles, with at least 3 years in a Controller capacity.
• Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and collaboration.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.

Location: 100% On-Site and available to candidates within a commutable range to the Greater Fort Wayne area.
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 depending upon experience
