We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial management of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial and accounting operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial integrity of the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, and a proven track record in financial forecasting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all financial operations of the company including budgeting, liquidity management, cash flow monitoring, and financial modeling.
2. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
3. Lead the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring all financial records are properly maintained and reconciled.
4. Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure financial accuracy and reliability.
5. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to enhance profitability, improve financial performance, and support business growth.
6. Manage tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
7. Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and shared accountability.
8. Participate in strategic planning, risk management, and capital funding decisions.
9. Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information to provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support decision making.
10. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree
- CPA certification REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, financial reporting, and financial analysis techniques.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to a non-financial audience.
- High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Proficiency in using advanced financial software and accounting systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
