- Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department. cashiers, and receptions.
- Prepare end-of-month financial statements.
- Oversee company bank accounts daily.
- Review accounting schedules regularly and work with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies.
- Post monthly credit card transactions.
- Prepare sales tax returns.
- Process gap insurance and warranty cancellations.
- Prepare and process yearly insurance and license renewals.
- Process incoming and outgoing service rental licensing.
- Prepare year end documentation for the CPA firm.
- Other Controller duties as needed.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- A degree in accounting and/or an equal amount of experience is a must
- Should have strong communications, customer service, leadership and organizational skills
- Experience providing accurate and reliable financial reports
- Ability to analyze and solve financial problems
- Needs to fit culturally in the Company
