Key Responsibilities:
Leading Financial Operations: Be the driving force behind our financial operations, overseeing areas such as Accounts Payable, allocation accuracy, and financial processes across multiple programs.
Ensuring Accuracy: Verify the precision of our financial records, including meticulous reconciliation of accounts and timely preparation of journal entries.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and other reports with precision, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Process Improvement: Continuously enhance our financial systems, processes, and tools to streamline operations and bolster internal controls.
Timely Close Process: Ensure that monthly and year-end financial closes are not just on time, but also accurate, in accordance with GAAP and specific reporting policies.
Collaborative Consultation: Work closely with program leads and executive staff, providing financial insights and support for budget initiatives and cost controls.
Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to financial policies and regulations, keeping us in line with state, local, and government standards.
Audit Oversight: Manage and schedule staff for the completion of annual external audits, ensuring smooth processes and compliance with audit requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering their growth and ensuring their readiness to handle any challenge that comes our way.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Proven experience in financial management, with at least [X years] in a leadership role.
