Job Details
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leading financial role in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. This position involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate and revenue accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. If you are detail-oriented, analytical, and have a passion for improving healthcare through financial management, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities
1. Overseeing all financial operations, including the approval of budget department, revenue, expense, payroll entries, ledgers, and accounting classifications
2. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
3. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
4. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
5. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
6. Coordinating the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
7. Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
8. Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
9. Supporting the CFO in engaging the board’s audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery
Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the healthcare industry
3. Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions
4. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
5. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software
