Job Details
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, A/P, General Ledger, Inventory, Revenue Recognition, Payroll, Fixed Assets, etc.
Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
Oversees the production of monthly financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Assist with preparation of bank reporting package and board presentations.
Research technical accounting issues as needed.
Oversee accounting staff at individual locations.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- CPA license required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
- Ten years or more of related experience required- exceptions made for public accounting experience.
- Public Accounting experience preferred. Construction accounting experience preferred.
