About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Cost Accounting
- Direct and oversee the month end close functions of the company.
- Financial reporting
- Work directly with the leaders to report timely and accurate financial reports
- Maintain and report against annual budgets and multi-year forecasts. Perform timely analysis of budget/forecast variances and financial trends.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with
- GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Monthly reconciliation of subledgers and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and file timely and accurate payroll, sales, income or other tax returns and reports and related deposits.
- Strive for continuous process improvement within the department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of Full cycle accounting and finance experience.
- Experience in manufacturing / engineering preferred.
- Unimpeachable integrity and dependability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of urgency.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- Ability to manage time & work in a team management position.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
