Job Overview:

We are seeking a strong, Controller ready for their next career move to join our growing team. This role will report directly to the CFO and play a critical part in our accounting operations, overssing AP/AR, payroll, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting and thrive as a senior-level contributor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll processes.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership on accounting operations and projects.
• Provide expertise in using and optimizing NetSuite (a big plus).
• Work closely with teams in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably ready for a more challenging role.
• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to operate independently.
• Experience with NetSuite is a significant plus, as the company recently transitioned to this platform.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
