About the Job

A Kforce client is seeking a Controller to join their team in Boston, MA. This client is an environmental services company with a great mission to build an environment with clean energy. This role will be 2 days a week in office and 3 days remote. Responsibilities include:

Lead the accounting and finance team
Oversee accounting activities
Assist with the budget process
Oversee organizational audits
Ensure compliance with tax filings, reporting regulations, and form filings
Oversee retention of financial records and contracts
Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA is a plus
5+ years of accounting experience
Experience in a non-profit company
Experience in leadership and supervising
Experience with accounting for grants/foundations is a huge plus
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
