Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
3. Coordinate all audit activities.
4. Regularly produce financial reports or statements.
5. Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism.
6. Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/reporting system.
7. Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
8. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
9. Evaluate and manage risk.
10. Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies.
11. Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
12. Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs, and proposed new sites.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
2. Professional accounting designation preferred (CA, CMA, or CPA).
3. At least 8 years of financial and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization of at least 50 staff persons.
4. Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
6. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
7. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
8. Excellent communication and people skills.
9. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
10. Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
11. Superior attention to detail.
12. Organizational and leadership skills.
13. Ability to work with large amounts of data.
14. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
15. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
16. Experience in a senior financial managerial position.
17. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics SL financial reporting software.
18. Exceptional communication skills.
19. Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner.
