We have a brand new remote opportunity available for a Controller that will be responsible for internal and external financial reporting, cash forecasting, treasury, operational accounting, monthly financial close, vendor relations, bank ABL, compliance reporting, tax (income, sales, and use), payroll management, and internal operations. This position with serve as the subject matter expert on all technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with all GAAP conventions and corporate policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We have a brand new remote opportunity available for a Controller that will be responsible for internal and external financial reporting, cash forecasting, treasury, operational accounting, monthly financial close, vendor relations, bank ABL, compliance reporting, tax (income, sales, and use), payroll management, and internal operations. This position with serve as the subject matter expert on all technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with all GAAP conventions and corporate policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and direct the accounting functions for the organization, with operations in the US, Canada, Mexico and India

Establish, maintain, monitor, and enforce the overall financial controls, accounting systems, policies, and procedures

Oversee the month-end close process and reconciliation of all general ledger balance sheet accounts

Coordinate the preparation of the corporate monthly and annual reports and manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants

Support the analysis and reporting of financial information including budgets, planning, and required filings and reports, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership team

Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Manage financial operations of foreign subsidiaries, monitoring debt levels and compliance with debt covenants

Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related required. Graduate degree preferred

Minimum 7+ years of experience in professional service, supply chain, procurement, or related fields with experience as controller function

Ideally 3+ years of experience with an audit firm

CPA designation

Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting principles, financial controls, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting

High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, expert user of Excel

Experience with Oracle Financial

Experience managing a large multinational team

Proven experience driving process improvement and managing change

International Accounting experience preferred

Experience with IFRS preferred
$200,000 - $230,000 per year
