Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Develop and monitor internal financial controls.
- Maintain consolidated books and records.
- Manage and coordinate audits with external auditors. Prepare audit reports.
- Work directly with managing partners to build annual budget.
- Track and monitor monthly financials in accordance with annual budget.
- Create and manage financial reporting for investment vehicles working independently of – but parallel to – fund administrators.
- Coordinate with fund administrator in reviewing quarterly accounting records including cash reconciliations, allocations, expense accruals, management fees, and other capital activities.
- Continue to mature the firm’s accounting practices to maintain accuracy and quality as business scales.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for bill pay, reconciliation and reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 - 7 years of accounting or fund administration experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to take on new responsibilities.
- Display initiative and good judgment in managing multiple tasks
- Tax and/or fund administration experience preferred
- Experience in private credit, fixed income, hedge funds, or other alternatives, preferred
