Controller at KBW Financial

KBW Financial has partnered with a reputable organization based out of Tewksbury, MA that is actively looking to add a Controller to their team! The Controller will report in to the CFO, and assist with financial reporting, general accounting, and collaborate with cross functional departments. The Controller will perform the following: 

Responsibilities: 

• Support the preparation and execution of the annual budgeting process
• Manage treasury functions, including maintaining banking relationships and overseeing cash management
• Manage the month-end close process
• Handle reporting requirements for various government agencies at the local, state, and federal levels
• Oversee external audit and tax teams to ensure timely completion of annual tax filings and audit processes
• Supervise Accounts Payable, payroll, and the preparation of financial statements
• Drive and lead initiatives for ongoing process improvements
• Collaborate with the CFO and ownership as required
