About the Job
Our client is currently seeking a Controller to join their growing team, located in the Albany area.
Responsibilities of the Controller will include:
- Prepare and review AR invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
- Monitor accounts for overdue payments and conduct collections activities.
- Maintain financial records and perform general ledger entries in Sage 100.
- Generate monthly WIP reports reflecting project progress for management.
- Coordinate payroll processing, tax transfers, and administer employee benefits.
Qualifications of the Controller:
- Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a degree in accounting, 5 + years of accounting experience, and management experience.
- Familiarity with Sage 100 is a plus
- Understanding of WIP reporting and project accounting.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $90,000 to $120,000.
