Our expanding global partner based in Houston is currently seeking a Fully Remote, Control System Engineer. In this crucial position, the Control Solutions Specialist plays a key role in advancing the understanding and capabilities of process control systems within both established downstream industries and emerging technology sectors. This includes involvement in the hydrogen economy, advanced plastics, and various decarbonization initiatives. The client's objective is to establish itself as a comprehensive solution provider in specialized areas relevant to the ongoing global shift towards decarbonization, emphasizing the transition from carbon-based fuels to cleaner alternatives.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a focus on Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or Systems Engineering.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, showcasing continuous technical progression in engineering roles across energy, refining, hydrogen/ammonia, and mining industries. Ideally, this experience should involve tenure at an engineering company.
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of leadership experience, actively participating in the design and development of integrated control systems where flow control serves as a central element. Exhibit expertise in related engineering and technology aspects, emphasizing process optimization, operability, efficiency, and safety. This includes proficiency in control and isolation valves and turbomachinery equipment.
