Control Panel Design Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Our client in Sussex, WI is looking for a Control Panel Design Engineer.
Required:

• 3+ years’ experience working with AutoCAD Electrical
• BSEE
• Working knowledge of NEC code
• The ability to work closely with fellow employees and manufacturing personnel to insure a smooth workflow is necessary
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring prints, point lists, and other documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design control and automation system panels and other associated mechanical designs in AutoCAD Electrical with input from the engineering team.
• Develops bill of materials, schematic diagrams, cable connection drawings, and assembly instructions for electrical control panels.
• Understands relevant international electrical and safety agency codes (UL, CSA, NEC, IEC, CE, ISO) and is able to develop drawing packages that are compliant with these codes.
• Revises drawings and designs based on engineering change orders and internal/external customer requests.
• Able to perform calculations to translate design requirements into scalable, specific configurations for drawing implementation.
• Works with electrical engineers to incorporate electrical design concepts.
• Reports project progress and status to the Engineering Manager

Salary: $75k-$110K
