Control Engineering at ICONMA, LLC

• The career level senior process engineer is responsible for Program Execution for Machine Controls and Robotics.
• Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.
• Required (5-7 years of experience as a controls/robotics engineer)
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of plant floor work
• General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
• Understanding of company’s system and 4 walls within the site or program
• Design and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems.

Requirements:

• Prior work experience as controls engineers in the automotive field
• Knowledge of company’s global controls architecture
• Experience in PLC and HMI programming, Ethernet and/or Devicenet networks
• Demonstrated basic understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process..
• Bachelor’s degree with major in engineering or equivalent experience/training. Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment.
