***Hybrid position requiring in office time about 1-2 times a quarter. Must be permanently located or willing to relocate to New England to be considered.***
The Contracts Specialist serves as a specialized resource, within the Clinical Research Agreement that is part of Clinical Research Operations, in negotiating non-disclosure agreements with Sponsors, data use agreements and other types of clinical research agreements. They will provide compliance and administrative support to compile and prepare specialized reports and presentations.

The Contracts Specialist serves as a specialized resource, within the Clinical Research Agreement that is part of Clinical Research Operations, in negotiating non-disclosure agreements with Sponsors, data use agreements and other types of clinical research agreements. They will provide compliance and administrative support to compile and prepare specialized reports and presentations.
This Contracts Specialist will be responsible for:
- Drafts, reviews and negotiates non-disclosure agreements with Sponsors, data use agreements and other types of clinical research agreements for use in clinical research.
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of Hospital's policies and procedures applicable to industry sponsored clinical research, and other academic and professional standards for the conduct and administration of industry-sponsored clinical research.
- Maintains strong relationships with faculty, researchers, hospital staff, and outside industry sponsors.
- Participates in professional organizations and related forums to acquire and share current information, trends and practices.
- Maintains databases in support of the contract team. Transfers data onto online reporting system and/or spreadsheets. Compiles, prints and distributes periodic reports and other information, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Analytical skills to resolve problems requiring the application of scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in depth, experienced based cross functional knowledge.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
