As a Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing all aspects of contract management, from initiation to execution, ensuring that all contracts meet company standards and comply with laws and regulations.
- Reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with clients, suppliers, and other external entities.
- Coordinating with various departments, including sales, finance, and legal, to ensure that all contract terms are clearly defined and understood.
- Identifying potential risks and issues within contracts and proposing effective solutions.
- Developing and implementing effective contract management strategies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
- Providing guidance and support to team members on matters related to contract management.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of products and services as per contract terms.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Contracts Manager role should possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify potential risks and issues within contracts.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
