About the Job
Our client is seeking a Sr. Contracts Manager who will analyze cost buildup of supplier spend and negotiate and manage vendor contracts/sub-contracts, both business and legal terms. This person will measure success: reduce costs based on analysis, enable revenue, minimize risk in aggressive timeframes required by internal clients.

Overall Purpose:
Analyze cost buildup of supplier spend and negotiate and manage vendor contracts/sub-contracts, both business and legal terms. Measurements of success: reduce costs based on analysis, enable revenue, minimize risk in aggressive timeframes required by internal clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1)Works on complex issues where analysis of situations and data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, intense focus on meeting client needs, and leadership.
2)Creates, negotiates and executes supplier contracts in Global Sourcing organization compliant with corporate policies, focused on enabling internal client success.
3)Develops sourcing strategy based upon strong understanding of clients’ needs and supply category or supplier knowledge in order to provide direction and counsel.
4)Develops supply category strategy and analyzes supplier costs and margins to determine should cost.
5)Handles contract issues of all types: new business, renewals, disputes, system set-up for order to pay, assignments, and performance issues.
6) Administers contracts in accordance with company and customer policies and procedures, provide interpretation and analysis of contract documents and reviews and evaluates customer requests for changes in or revisions of contracts that involve technical specifications, cost, payment terms or schedule impact on the company.
