Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Contracts Coordinator to join our Client's team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contracts Administration and Support (25%) Uses contract administration skills and organization policies and procedures to support the strategic sourcing team on contract management. Works on contract administration problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Leverages the support and expertise of the strategic sourcing team on dealing with specific transactions and the interpretation of contract language.
- Administrative Support (15%) Communication across departments and campuses, must be able to interact with UC Procurement staff to help achieve project deliverables. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions. The position is expected to help document and highlight strategic sourcing concerns across UC Systemwide Procurement to help move projects forward. Must be able to bring back information to management and clearly communicate management expectations.
- Project Management Support (35%) Ability to manage deliverable across several projects within defined timelines and expectations. Takes initiative to remove roadblocks and helps move projects to completion. Concisely defines potential concerns to management so clear actions can be taken to move projects forward. May need to work with other departments/stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.
- Financial Support (15%) Provide transactional financial support for projects as needed. Under supervision and direction of the UC Systemwide Procurement Finance Manager, provide transactional support between departments and campuses.
- Support as needed (10%) UC Systemwide Procurement is a dynamic department and projects/project support is always evolving. This role will need to perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE
TOOLS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project & Excel is required
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and concepts
- Exposure to Canva is preferred
- Exposure to Smartsheet is preferred
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as zoom is required

- Proven critical thinking, persuasion / negotiation, project management, and problem-solving responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.
