Cordoba Corporation, a leading engineering firm in CA, is hiring a Contract Administrator, II. This role will be responsible for working in collaboration with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with all contractual terms and conditions and LAWA, City State and Federal We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator II to manage professional services contracts for planning, design, entitlement, and environmental planning services. This role supports the Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAWA) $15 billion Capital Improvement Program, encompassing both Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Van Nuys Airport. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, oversee contract execution, and facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to drive project success.
Responsibilities:- Ensures compliance with contract sections, such as inclusivity, City of Los Angeles ordinances, task orders, cost reimbursables, etc.
- Processes the addition and removal of firms to a given contract.
- Tracks relevant contract information and audit periodically.
- Maintains a log of contract performance.
- Oversees the creation and storage of all applicable documents and files.
- Understands all components of the contract including procurement and any amendments.
- Be familiar with City of Los Angeles and LAWA policies with regards to contracting.
- Conducts activities necessary when contracts expire or need to be closed out.
- Creates labor, other-direct-cost, scope-based, and closeout task orders.
- Reviews Task Order Solicitations and corresponding proposals to ensure that they adhere to both the contract and City of Los Angeles policies.
- Monitors task order expenditures and anticipates when a budget reduction / increase is warranted.
- Resolves task order funding issues by working with the various LAWA teams.
- Resolves task order and contract related issues as they arise.
- Processes/coordinates LAX Security badge request packages: quality control and submission to the LAX Security Badge Office and Airfield Driving Permit Office.
- At least three (3) to 5 years of experience in the administration of commercial/government contracts is required
- Understand the basic principles of cost accounting, contract lifecycles, and construction phases
- Experience with task order contracts
- Familiar with the United States General Services Administration per diem guidelines
- Critical thinking skills to address and resolve administrative and process issues
- Able to present information succinctly
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical and educational
backgrounds
Preferred:
- A four-year degree is preferred, or at least course work in the field
- Ability to work past regular work shift as needed
- Knowledge and direct experience in SBE/LBE/LSBE/DBE/DVBE/MWBE program coordination and compliance preferred
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
