Job Family Definition:
Responsible for protecting the company's global assets and interests which include personnel, property/operations, products, brand and intellectual property (IP). Principal activities include the following: • Working with HPE business and functional groups globally, designs, develops, implements and administers cost-effective, pro-active security programs and services. Encompasses executive protection, product authentication, anti-fraud, physical security, supply chain security, online security, contingency planning, and crisis management response. Includes analysis, design, audit, training and reporting related to these programs and services. • Leads security-related communications, promotes security awareness, designs and maintains communications channels to facilitate the distribution of time-sensitive security alerts, threat assessments, general travel guidance and other content. • Investigates allegations/incidents of illegal activity, violations of corporate policies, and serious impropriety by employees. Provides management with assessments/advice on organizations or individuals who are contemplating or using illegal or disruptive tactics against HPE. • Maintain liaison with domestic and international law enforcement, governmental security and intelligence agencies, industry organizations, and relevant organizations and individuals, to collect information relating to the security of HPE assets and interests. • Continually assesses and aligns security resources with risks.

Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for day-to-day implementation and coordination of company guidelines and security practices as outlined in the customer and HPE corporate security manuals and security classification guides.
- Assists in contract guard force management.
- Collaborates with the HPE Federal Security staff with personnel security functions.
- Communicates with customers to obtain rulings, interpretations, and approved deviations, ensuring compliance with all government regulations.
- Provides facility security administration, documentation and accreditation support.
- Manages and maintains UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS).
- Ensures the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.
- Assists in preparing manuals and/or establishing procedures for handling, storing and recordkeeping of classified material.
- Processes individuals for personnel security clearances/special accesses; and provides oversight for secure area visit and/or entry control.
- Investigates security violations and prepare reports specifying preventative action to be taken.
- Participates in security and risk assessments.
- Works closely with government security counterparts, internal/external program managers, and other industry customers/partners to ensure program success.
- Responsible for completing tasks related to the certification and accreditation of secure areas.
- Executes other duties as assigned to support operations.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience working as a CSSO. Understanding of Intelligence Community Directives and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Experience with MPO procurement database.
- Experience with DISS, Scattered Castles or similar database.
- Experience with Certification and Accreditation of SCIFs and Closed areas.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Desired requirement: Completion of MPO, CSSO Course
Minimum Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
- 3+ years Industrial Security experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task.
- High ethical standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S. -based hire filling this position is provided below. Annual Salary: $75,500.00 - $174,500.00
