This role is critical in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our engineering and land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical requirements and industry standards in land development, coupled with exceptional recruitment skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing: Identify and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ technical skills, cultural fit, and overall suitability for the role.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and technical leads to understand the specific requirements of each position and ensure alignment in the recruitment process.
- Job Posting: Create and post detailed job descriptions that attract highly qualified candidates in the land development engineering sector.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely feedback and maintaining clear communication.
- Networking: Build and maintain a network of potential candidates and industry contacts to support ongoing recruitment needs.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment laws, and industry regulations.
- Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting Civil or Land Development engineering roles, with additional experience in recruitment or talent acquisition preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of land development processes, including site planning, design, permitting, and construction.
- Recruitment Skills: Proven experience in recruiting technical roles within the engineering sector, with a focus on Civil and Land Development.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and persuade candidates.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and online job platforms.
