Position Overview
Responsible for supporting LG Energy Solution Vertech’s Global Quality functions, which includes but is not limited to developing, coordinating, and implementing quality initiatives within the LGES-VT, supply chain, and product / project deployment Quality Goals and Objectives. Supports the development and continuous improvement activities that promotes a comprehensive quality program that encompasses both the commercial and operational aspects of our Quality Management Systems. This position reports to the Director of Operations
Primary Responsibilities
- Support and Drive Quality Standard requirements related to our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 270001 Certifications.
- Update ISO Processes and Procedures maintaining ISO and Compliance obligations.
- Work closely to maintain compliance with all business specific rules, and regulations.
- Facilitate, integrate and/or coordinate the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of identified quality improvement activities.
- Managing internal Calibration Program.
- Maintains KPI Metrics tracking for Supplier and Site related performances.
- Coordinate RMA Returns tracking failure codes and root cause.
- Production Support – Creation or updates to Manufacturing Work Instructions.
- Participate in evaluations pertaining to internal and external audits.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with the Quality Improvement Program.
Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Comprehensive Understanding of ISO Quality Management Systems 9001 – 14001 – 45001- 27001.
- Statistical analysis experience using Excel, SQC Pack, or similar preferred.
- Knowledge of Process Improvement, Lean and Six Sigma methodology.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to independently prioritize one's own work and multi-task to meet changing or competing timelines.
- Attention to detail.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Strong oral communication presentation skills
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree is preferred or 3-5 plus years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of Quality Control and Continuous Improvement Initiatives, preferably in the Energy Storage Industry.
Travel
- Expected Travel <10% of the time
