Description
+ Assesses, analyzes, and negotiates payer contracts for all hospital and professional entities within Emory Healthcare (EHC). + Manages information for loading and maintaining payer contracts in EHC decision support systems. + Implements new contracts, amendments, and business process modifications. + Utilizes Emory Healthcare's decision support systems and other tools to perform financial analysis of hospital, physician and ancillary rates and other ad hoc financial analysis. + Serves as managed care liaison for assigned Emory Healthcare operational areas and contracted organizations. + Manages relationships with assigned managed care organizations including monitoring contract performance, compliance and maintenance. + Resolves operational issues to maximize contract performance/revenue.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + A bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or a related field. + Master's degree preferred. + Three of healthcare experience, preferably in managed care. + Knowledge of various personal computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management applications.
