- Utilizing HRIS to manage and maintain employee data.
- Processing multi-state payroll, understanding the unique requirements and regulations of each state.
- Using ADP and other timekeeping systems to track employee hours and attendance.
- Handling garnishments, payroll deductions, and payroll tax, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborating with HR and finance departments to streamline payroll processes and resolve any issues.
- Staying updated with the latest payroll trends, tax changes, and legal regulations to ensure the company is always compliant.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Analyst position should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in payroll, auditing, benefits, and compensation management.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present data in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with HRIS, multi-state payroll, ADP, timekeeping systems, garnishments, payroll deductions, and payroll tax.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll issues promptly.
- Knowledge of the latest payroll trends, tax changes, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certification in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
