Job Title: Contract Engineer - Manufacturing Industry
Location: Jessup, MD
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Engineer to join our manufacturing team on a temporary basis for a 2-month project. As a Contract Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency, and contributing to the successful completion of the project within the stipulated timeframe.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Apply your engineering knowledge to assess, troubleshoot, and enhance manufacturing processes.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased productivity.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain and enhance product quality standards.
Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including process manuals and engineering drawings.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to achieve project goals.
Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
Adherence to Schedule: Ensure that project milestones are met within the specified time frame.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using engineering software and tools.
