Contract Length: Starts off as 2-month contract with a chance to extend/convert.
Overview: Our client Is immediately seeking an HR Administrator to fill a critical role within the organization. This position will report directly to the Controller and assist with essential HR tasks, including payroll processing, recruiting support, and cultural initiatives. The role is strictly task-oriented and does not involve decision-making responsibilities. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly preferred.
Location:
- Onsite, South San Antonio-Area
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and on time using Paylocity, adhering to all company policies and regulations.
- Recruiting Support: Assist with recruitment tasks, including:
- Reviewing resumes for qualified candidates.
- Scheduling interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Managing communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Culture & Engagement Initiatives: Support the planning and execution of cultural events and initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Administrative HR Tasks: Manage routine administrative duties such as maintaining HR records, assisting with onboarding/offboarding, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Candidate Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in HR Administration, with the ability to execute HR tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with Paylocity HR/payroll systems
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a huge plus.
- Location/Onsite Work Requirement:
- Ability to work onsite, (Southwest San Antonio) daily.
- Strong detail orientation and a task-focused, execution-oriented personality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with employee engagement or cultural event planning.
- Experience working in a similar HR administrative role within small-to-medium-sized organizations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to assist with various HR needs.
- Contract Period: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours per week).
- Potential Conversion: If the position converts to permanent, work hours will expand to include 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturdays, resulting in a 5.5-day workweek.

- Pay Range: $27-$46/hourly w2 as Vaco Contract Employee (Pay rate in range based on experience + qualifications).
