JOB DESCRIPTION
Contract Execution Administrator
I. BASIC FUNCTION
The Contract Execution Administrator is a team player responsible for collaborating with internal and external sources to provide accurate information to Accounting to ensure that we collect revenue earned and that we pay expenses timely and accurately to maximize long-term organizational success.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES
1. Work closely Marketing, Accounting, Customers and Transportation Services to provide accurate and timely information needed to invoice revenue and perform analysis for learning and improvement of our operations.
a. Revenue Management
i. Use TowWorks to accurately identify rebillable expenses to customers
ii. Use TowWorks to add billable towing events for inside towing
iii. Review and creation of demurrage packets for billing of all demurrage
iv. Revenue analysis- trends, bundled towing performance and portfolio
v. Be familiar with Customer Contract Terms
b. Expense Management
i. Expense analysis- accuracy and trends for management of costs
2. Utilize TowWorks and Workday systems for providing information needed for billing and analysis.
3. Other
a. Work effectively with others as needed to accomplish job functions
b. Perform other duties as required and directed by management
c. Carry out the Business Philosophy, Code of Conduct and Mission of Canal Barge Company, Inc.
III. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Contract Execution Administrator reports to the Manager of Contract Execution.
IV. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.)
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Experience with TowWorks is desired.
4. Experience with Workday is desired.
5. Experience in marine transportation industry is desired.

VI. MEASURES OF SUCCESS
1. Reduce rebill Intellex errors by 50%
2. Process all demurrage timely so no demurrage is time-barred.
VII.OUTCOMES
Work closely with Transportation Service, Customer Service, Liquid and Dry Cargo Marketing, Accounting and the other members of the Contract Execution team to maximize profitability of our core liquid and dry cargo systems by helping to ensure flawless execution of service to CBC customers.
