Contract Administrator - Office Manager - Gpac

A successful 30+ year-old Engineering Advisory firm in the area is looking to immediately hire a Contract Administrator/Office Manager. This is a fantastic company providing independent construction observation, contract administration, construction management, construction engineering, and owner’s representation.

The Contract Administrator/Office Manager will be an integral role within the company acting as a liaison between the engineering teams, clients, and contractors, facilitating communication and project management. The role will entail overseeing daily office operations, ensuring workflow, scheduling, budgeting, supervising office staff, and ensuring company compliance.

 Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day office operations ensuring an efficient working environment.
• Manage office supplies and inventory.
• Supervise and support administrative staff, providing technical guidance and feedback.
• Manage work schedules and handle staff related issues that arise.
• Provide administrative support to clients and staff including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and document preparation.
• Assist with project management tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking progress of ongoing projects.
• Coordinate between teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain project document and records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• NICET, NECEP preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the engineering or construction industry, preferably in an office management or administrative role.
• Experience with project management and staff supervision.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
