Contract Administrator - METECS

METECS is an engineering company, headquartered in Houston, TX, just outside the gates of NASA’s Johnson Space Center.  We are looking for a self-motivated, high performing candidate who will provide contract administration, subcontract administration, compliance activities, financial reporting, and milestone monitoring in support of our NASA and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Works with management to ensure company and project resources stay within budget
• Management of government property 
• Support program planning for contracts
• Preparation of cost estimates
• Assurance of compliance with contract requirements
• Review subcontractor invoices and prepare corresponding payment vouchers
• Assist in preparation of subcontracts, subcontract contract modifications, and work orders

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 2-4 years of contract administration experience
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Word Skills including experience with Macros
• Strong prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Desired:

• NASA contract administration experience including familiarity with NASA’s Contractor Financial Management Report (Form 533)
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Clauses (FAR) clauses
• Experience with managing government property

Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.
