Lynntech, Inc is seeking a team oriented, highly motivated Contract Administrator to join the Project Management Office (PMO) at Lynntech, Inc. The Contract Administrator, besides working closely with the PMO team must also work effectively with the research groups, accounting department, business development, and other stakeholders on contract related tasks. The Contract Administrator will also interact with Lynntech clients and collaborators regarding the contractual aspects of the numerous contracts Lynntech executes.
General responsibilities associated with this position include contractual oversight on projects through their entire lifecycle including proposal, negotiations, execution, and contract close-out.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparing, administering, and tracking all types of contracts, including cost plus, firm fixed price, and time and material contracts. (generally, 50 to 60 active contracts at various stages with an additional 5 to 10 in negotiations/factfinding)
- Reviewing contracts to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and identifying areas of concern on contract terms and conditions
- Reviews, develops and negotiates non-disclosure, teaming, consulting, and subcontract agreements while ensuring protection for the company in all partnership arrangements
- Establishing and maintaining complex records which include cross-referencing contracts, sub-agreements, and other legal documents
- Updates contracts and company information in government systems and databases, e.g. SAM, GSA Assist, GSA FAS
- Providing oversight compliance responsibility for government property disposition
- Supporting client requests to supply data and forms for new contract awards
- Negotiating terms and conditions on various contracts
- Keeping current on government regulations and requirements for the organization to ensure compliance including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (including FAR and DFAR), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and Government Property Administration.
- Processing contract change orders or contract modifications
- Assisting various departments in financial matters related to contracts and client invoicing
- Work with the PMO team to setup new contracts/projects
- Working with the PMO team as an interface and point of contact with client and internal technical staff regarding contract issues, resolution, and communication.
- Performing other related duties as required
Qualifications for this position
- Baccalaureate degree in business or equivalent discipline preferred
- Must demonstrate ability to document work and handle many ongoing concurrent actions
- Must demonstrate ability to work multiple tasks while also having the ability to assist technical staff with "walk-in" questions
- Must demonstrate experience with administrating multiple ongoing grants and contracts (Federal Contracting in DOD a plus)
- Detailed knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CFR required
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills required
- Familiarity with government SBIR/STTR databases helpful
- Past or current Government Clearance beneficial but not required.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, other company staff, and customers
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Access
- Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Must be a US Citizen to meet contract requirements.
