Take your career to the next level with us! R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (R.M. Chin) is seeking a dedicated Contract Administrator to join our Aviation sector. Individuals will be responsible for managing and overseeing all contractual aspects of Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) projects from initiation through completion. Coordinate and participate in procurement activities for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) construction projects including materials, subcontractors, and services. This role involves working closely with the project team, internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all contracts are executed in compliance with program requirements and project specifications.
Qualification Requirements
- Education – Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or High School diploma w/equivalent work experience in project management, construction management, civil engineering, architecture, business, accounting or highly related discipline
- Experience – 5+ years, must be relevant experience
- Previous experience managing projects

- Must be able to receive security badging by passing background check
Key Responsibilities
Assist in all procurement activities including prequalification, bid form preparation, M/WBE participation requirements, assembly of bid packages, bid analysis, and procurement status updates. Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with procurement plan and project strategies. Address and resolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies to minimize impact on project timelines. Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable regulations, company policies, and project-specific requirements.
Review and interpret CMAR contracts to ensure all parties adhere to terms and conditions. Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation and records. Process and evaluate change order requests, ensuring they are well-documented and justified.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to assess the impact of change orders on scope, schedule, and budget. Negotiate and finalize change orders with subcontractors, ensuring timely implementation and documentation.
Collaborate with leadership and project team to ensure alignment between procurement and project timelines. Act as the primary liaison between the project team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding contract issues and change orders. Track and report on the status of contracts and change orders, providing updates to senior management as needed. Assist in resolving disputes and issues related to contract terms and change orders.
Identify potential risks related to contract compliance and change orders and recommend mitigation strategies. Conduct periodic audits of contract compliance and change order processes to ensure adherence to best practices and organizational policies.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities including bidding documents and analysis. Prepare and maintain detailed records of all contract modifications, including change orders, amendments, and approvals. Generate reports on procurement activities, contract performance, compliance, and change order impacts for review by senior management.
Provide guidance and training to project team members and contractors on contract compliance and change order procedures. Support project teams in understanding contractual obligations and navigating change order processes.
Job Offer:
Competitive base salary between $105 – 135K, depending on project assignment, experience, skills, and location.
Annual bonuses are based on individual and company performance.
