Position Location: Hybrid, requires 1 day onsite per week in Ashburn, VA
Who are you?
Security-cleared Professional: You have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance if required.
Education is important to us: You have a Bachelor's Degree with at minimum 5 years of experience related to contract administration in a government contracting environment focused on person-centric services.
Experience is important to us: The right candidate will have prior experience as a contract administrator focused on person-centric services for the federal government. Will have experience with the FAR and other government regulations. Will have experience supporting contract negotiation, administration, and termination. Will have experience setting up projects in Deltek. Familiar with GSA schedule and GWACs.
Certifications: DAWAIA certified
What you'll do:
The Contract Administrator will extend, negotiate, administer, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts, task orders and subsequent amendments. Will conduct preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contract activities to provide proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Monitors company performance for conformance to original specifications, and government regulations. Prepares and disseminates information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications. Maintains contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects. Participates in teaming agreement and strategic marketing alliance negotiations between company and outside sources. Sets up projects within Deltek Costpoint and sets up jobs.
