We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our fast-paced finance team on a contract basis. This exciting role offers the opportunity to showcase your talents in accounts receivable, collections, credit analysis, and Excel. You will be playing a pivotal role in managing and resolving all accounts receivable issues, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and maintaining all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
2. Conducting credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of clients and mitigate financial risk.
3. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to create financial reports, perform data analysis, and support financial forecasting.
4. Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and improve collection processes.
5. Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
6. Providing exceptional customer service to clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
7. Participating in financial audits, providing necessary information and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Specialist role will have the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Receivable Analyst role or a similar position.
3. Proven experience in collections and credit analysis.
4. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
5. Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
8. Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
10. Experience with financial software systems is a plus.
