The Continuous Improvement Program Manager is responsible for leading and implementing advanced improvement strategies to drive operational efficiency, enhance business performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role focuses on process optimization, waste reduction, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve measurable results in line with organizational goals. The position also involves mentoring teams, managing improvement projects, and ensuring the adoption of best practices across the organization. May also assist in the reliability, development, and performance of PSA’s M&E technology footprint (product). Assist the Assistant Director of MTX Engineering Technology Solutions in leveraging technology in support of the Maintenance & Engineering’s goals.
- Develop and execute a continuous improvement roadmap aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Facilitate annual planning events and quarterly reviews to align initiatives with business priorities.
- Lead cross-functional events such as Kaizen workshops, root cause analyses, and problem-solving exercises.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support troubleshooting of operations, processes, and equipment to minimize losses and improve stability.
- Promote and manage 5S, safety standards, and visual workplace initiatives across facilities.
- Manage and execute improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Analyze and prioritize improvement initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and present progress reports, performance data, and project outcomes to senior leadership.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to share best practices and standardize processes across sites.
- Support benchmarking activities and sustainability efforts to enhance organizational performance and environmental impact.
- Takes part in the day-to-day collaboration and engagement with the M&E and IT teams.
- Responsible for creation, configuration and maintenance of Roles, Permissions, and Locations in the M&E system.
- Manage and coordinate required reviews by process owners for Roles, Permissions, Users, and compliance of technology solutions.
- Manage and coordinate the Risk Assessments relating to technology changes.
- Plan, report on budgetary projects for some technology spending.
- Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Aeronautical, Quantitative or Business Discipline or Engineering or Technology equivalent.
- Certification in Project Management, Lean, lean six sigma (LSS), Black Belt, Master Black Belt or Quality Driven Management (QDM) or continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, logistics, manufacturing, IT Technology, or process optimization.
- 5+ years of experience in project management and/or process improvement with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect influencing abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and performance in Lean activities.
- Experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM).
- Fluency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of FAA regulations.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.
Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Assistant Director of Maintenance Engineering Technology Solutions.
