If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager - Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of our organization by implementing continuous improvement strategies and managing Continuous Improvement Coordinators in MIP/Lean Principals.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager - Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
2. Analyzing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and developing effective solutions to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce waste.
3. Implementing lean manufacturing principles and other industrial engineering methodologies to improve operational performance.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand operational challenges and develop strategic improvement plans.
5. Conducting training sessions to educate team members about continuous improvement strategies and techniques.
6. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of implemented improvement initiatives, making necessary adjustments to ensure maximum benefits.
7. Participating in the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
8. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
9. Providing technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager - Industrial Engineer position should possess the following:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in MIP (Manufacturing Improvement Process) or equivalent.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and developing effective solutions.
6. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and other industrial engineering methodologies.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
9. Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the role, such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and MS Office Suite.
10. A results-driven mindset, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
