You'll collaborate closely with various teams, including leadership, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, sourcing, finance, training, and quality assurance, to standardize and sustain new processes effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, evaluate, and support the implementation of process improvements, offering tactical coaching to enhance efficiencies.
- Provide tactical coaching on Lean Methodology/Concepts and Continuous Improvement techniques, such as Six Sigma methodologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively managing projects aimed at enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Address production issues, conduct yield performance analyses, and spearhead improvement plans.
- Lead Kaizen events, focusing on waste reduction, yield improvement, 6S implementation, standard work instruction development, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Assess processes, collect and interpret data, and refine systems and processes through testing and upgrades.
- Develop and advocate for best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to elevate production rates and output quality.
- Ensure the standardization and sustainability of new processes post-implementation.
- Oversee the completion of all necessary documentation, including procedures/SOPs, checklists, and visual aids.
- Conduct audits of changes and new processes to ensure adherence to standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Job Details
Experience/Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification, along with relevant experience in an optical laboratory environment or equivalent field.
- Proficiency in all aspects of lab manufacturing, demonstrating high levels of competency.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of maintaining workflow consistency and fostering a motivating work environment.
- Proficient in keyboard and PC operations, particularly skilled in Digital Vision Inc. (DVI) optical manufacturing software.
