Content Writer at Nextant

Nextant is looking for a driven Content Writer to join our client team. The main function of a Content Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.

Responsibilities:

• Produce technical content including blogs, white papers, etc.
• Work with stakeholders to understand email requests and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order priorities each week.
• Create email copy that drives clarity, conciseness, style and action with our product users.
• Build evergreen email templates for common use cases.
• Executing discipline in lead management, opportunity qualification, opportunity management, pipeline hygiene, forecasting & deal commitment.
• Maintain high level of customer engagement across leads and opportunities.
• Present action plans and results to management.
• Delivery and maintain monthly and Quarterly forecast.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Journalism, English, applicable field.
• 2-10 years of experience required.
• Experience in creating documentation for a technical audience.
• Excellent writing, editing and terminology communication skills.
• Microsoft Experience.
• Ability to read some programming code.
• Maintain records and files of ability to work and revisions.
• Confer with the client to establish technical specifications and to determine the subject material to be developed for publication.

Pay Rate:

The annual salary rate for this position in Washington State is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and market and business considerations when extending an offer. 

Candidate must be in Washington, Texas and Florida.
