About the Job
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Strategist to manage, optimize, and help drive the content strategy for our intranet built within Modern SharePoint. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience for employees accessing company resources. You will be responsible for structuring and managing content to meet the needs of various departments while maintaining brand standards, consistency, and accessibility across the platform.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $45 - $50 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development: Help define and execute a content strategy aligned with employee needs, business goals, and usability standards for Modern SharePoint.
- Information Architecture: Develop and optimize the site's structure, ensuring easy navigation and access to key content for employees.
- Content Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to organize content, including announcements, resources, knowledge bases, and internal documentation.
- Governance & Best Practices: Recommend new and adhere to established content governance guidelines, ensuring that all content adheres to company and Microsoft standards, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
- User-Centered Design: Apply UX/UI best practices and a design eye to ensure content is presented clearly and engagingly for all employees, considering user behavior and feedback.
- Content Audits & Updates: Work with stakeholders to regularly audit content to keep it relevant, accurate, and easy to find.
- Analytics & Optimization: Use analytics and employee feedback to refine and improve content performance and searchability within SharePoint.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, internal communications, and other departments to identify content needs and ensure alignment across the platform.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience as a Content Strategist, Information Architect, or similar role.
- Experience in Microsoft SharePoint, including with its content management capabilities.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with user-centered design principles and content accessibility standards.
- Experience with search optimization and content performance analytics is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
