About the Job
The Content & Media Coordinator (CMC) is the voice of the company's social and digital channels. Through understanding the category, the company brand, and social media trends, and collaboration with the Creative Team, the CMC will create social and digital content that is posted on social networks. The CMC will be a social and content-savvy creator to bridge the gap between technology and consumers with social content. The goal would be to make our expertise and the quality of our products and services stand out. The Content & Media Coordinator will be a content creator, writer, and community manager as they bootstrap content with a camera and an imagination - in stores, in our battery lab, and our warehouse. Additionally, assist with managing the social and creative assets with the team to build a robust library.

Essential Responsibilities
Partner with marketing to create and execute a unique and engaging social voice and strategy for the company and its brands.
Engage with consumers on social in unique and compelling ways that create a social feed that is advantaged vs. the competition.
Be the community manager of all brand social feeds, websites, and any other consumer-facing
platforms.
Create digital content (advertising) and social content at a high volume, and deploy to drive social engagement that builds awareness, engagement, and perception of the brand.
Monitor social media for trends, conversations, and topics.
Know where, when, and how to insert company social feeds into conversations that are relevant and valuable to consumers.
Partner with the Creative and Marketing teams to develop the assets needed to excel in the space.
Partner with marketing and category teams to build and maintain a monthly digital content calendar that supports key strategies and initiatives.
Track performance and make recommendations of how to adjust voice and approach to achieve results.
Assist with photography and video as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
2 or more years of experience in social media content or management.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of social platforms, social media, and trends.
Experience with other forms of marketing communications is desirable.
Proficient in graphic design, photography, editing, and copywriting.
Videography and video editing capability are preferred.
Understands digital marketing & social media tools, such as Hootsuite, SOCi, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Facebook Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Adwords, CRM, and AI platforms.
Must be able to use productivity tools like Asana, and Microsoft Planner.
Self-directed with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
Well organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks, and projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
