Our client, a fast-growing eCommerce company specializing in customizable truck upgrades, is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to lead their Content Team. Founded in 2016, they are known for their commitment to quality, customization, and excellent customer service. This on-site role in West Chicago, IL, offers an opportunity to drive industry-leading content and enhance brand presence.
In this role, the Content Marketing Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, managing the creation of both long-form technical installation videos and short-form social media content, along with web and packaging graphics. As an integral part of the Marketing Department, you will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Team, using data insights to refine content strategies and maintain the brand's voice and image across all projects.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of management experience in content strategy, along with a strong understanding of video production and analytics.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the Content Team, being accessible while also encouraging autonomy and growth throughout the team
- Oversee the day-to-day work of the Content Team including task management, scheduling of content, and workflow optimization
- Develop and track KPI’s and goals for the content team
- Maintain the brand image and voice throughout all content creation, and continue to help develop our brand image in the industry
- Oversee the execution of all technical and creative video projects
- Coordinate all scheduling for the content team, including building and maintaining schedules for video production and on-site vehicles
- Oversee the execution of non-video based creative content such as website graphics, packaging design, flyers, and more
- Develop and support content initiatives with a content delivery strategy, working directly with the Digital Marketing Team to deliver content to our customers
- Review and analyze marketing and content data to further optimize our content strategy
Qualification & Requirements
- This role is fully on-site
- 3+ years of management experience in a professional setting
- 2+ years of experience in content delivery strategy
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in related field
- Strong understanding of video production best practices
- Strong understanding of data analytics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams)
- Working level understanding of the creative Adobe Suite
