We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team! This is a remote position.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Position Summary:
As the Content Marketing Manager for our Education and Nonprofit division, you will be responsible for crafting the voice and message for our products and brands. You will create engaging, educational, and diverse content, playing a vital role in market positioning through various marketing activities, including thought leadership, social media, digital advertising, and digital experiences. Successful candidates will have experience in content marketing and copywriting, strong writing and social media skills, and knowledge of the nonprofit or private education sector.
A Day in the Life:
Lead content creation for assigned products, bringing new ideas and enhancing the voice.
Serve as the lead copywriter on all tasks and projects.
Manage major content assets and deliverables.
Collaborate with campaign managers to develop programs that resonate with the market audience.
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Marketing Operations, Creative, and Sales teams on content strategy and execution.
Stay updated on private and independent K-12 school industry trends.
Develop insights and innovative recommendations to continuously improve content effectiveness.
Support sales efforts and campaign programming with innovative and efficient recommendations.
Assist in campaign development and execution as needed.
Execute social media strategies, including campaign postings, trend/industry news postings, and driving follower numbers on LinkedIn.
What We're Looking For:
An organized self-starter with strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships cross-functionally.
Proficiency in writing long-form and digital content optimized for SEO.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail.
Motivation and a strong desire to meet goals and creatively collaborate to drive success.
Experience managing social media and email channels with a modern voice.
Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization.
A strategic thinker with the ability to execute strategies and meet objectives.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in content marketing or SaaS software.
Familiarity with digital advertising tools and practices.
Experience writing in the Edtech industry or private/independent school sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot is a plus).
Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com preferred) or Asana.
Experience in marketing to, working with, or working in nonprofit organizations, accounting, or the education (private/independent school) sector is preferred.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
