Content Marketing Coordinator - Color Edge Hair Care

As a member of our Marketing Team, you’ll drive audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, & Youtube) by strategizing and creating video content. The ideal candidate will have experience and passion for content creation, storytelling, social media and knack for identifying emerging trends. This role will work closely with the Marketing Team to strategize and execute on opportunities to drive brand awareness to scale the brand’s digital presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, capture, and edit high-quality and engaging video content for all digital fronts
• Brainstorm innovative ideas and concepts to support brand initiative and brand story
• Develop a strategic monthly marketing plan on all digital fronts, designed to drive sales, generate new leads and engage existing audience
• Monitor analytics, audience sentiment, and social and digital trends, translate learnings into actionable insights
• Implement content strategy on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest, and more
• Support Marketing Team to develop educational and promotional B2C & B2B content for both Johnny B. & Color Edge Hair Care
• Stay updated on social media trends and opportunities to position Johnny B. & Color Edge Hair Care at the forefront of the haircare industry
• Ensure all content is cohesive and aligns with brand image and message
• Attend shoots, events, and etc for coverage

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in content creation, video editing, and production
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Familiar with best practices for media creation
• Experience working with video editing programs - Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci, Capcut, Etc
• Copy writing skills - able to create brand appropriate copy and captions
• Experience with social media planning and analytic tools
• Great time management skills - plan, film and edit within a timely manner
• Comfortable being in front of the camera

Preferred:

• Experience with Canva, WooCommerce, Shopify, Monday
• Passion for beauty – haircare knowledge highly preferred
